We are delighted to announce that S&T Sri Lanka is the proud winner of the ‘Best Company Award’ for the Waterfront Integrated Resort Project presented by HKN JV (Hyundai Keangnan Nawaloka JV), the main contractor.
Adding to the accolades is the recognition of senior HSE Officer Mr.Buddhika Amarasinghe as the ‘Best Safety Officer’. Buddikha’s contribution and commitment to the job has been instrumental in this prestigious achievement.
The Waterfront Integrated Resort Project is one of the largest mixed development projects in Sri Lanka. S&T is associated with the project for last 18 months. There are 50+ companies linked with this iconic project and S&T is privileged to be selected as The Best Company during the last monthly HSE Audit.

Randika Rajapaksha (Project Manager) along with the guidance and direction of Venugopal Gopalakrishnan (Head of Operations), Chinthaka Jayathilaka (Head of Business Development) and Sarath Gunasekara (Senior QS consultant), have been instrumental in achieving this success.
The award ceremony was held on 1st November 2019 at the Hyundai site office, conducted by the Hyundai management. Buddika Amarasinhe (senior HSE officer), Wasantha (HSE officer) and Randika Rajapaksha (Project Manager) represented S&T at the event.
The function was chaired by Tae Hee Kim (Project director – HKN JV) and around 150 executives from HKN JV, and other subcontractors participated in the ceremony.
